To serve FIND Food Bank and it’s needs, by feeding the hungry in the Coachella Valley. Assisting with viable community projects by forming partnerships through education and raising awareness. Encouraging volunteers and fundraising to attain our goals.

What are we doing?
Nutrition:
- Education on topics such as Juvenile Diabetes & Obesity.
- How to eat healthy in your current enviroment. "Healthy choices"
- Community Gardens we are working with youth centers to grow gardens and to give back to the community where they live
- Family Back pack Program is designed to meet the needs of children and thier families who struggle with hunger at times when other resources are not available, such as weekends and school vacations. Food insecure children are provided child friendly, nutritious and easy to prepare food with the addition of staple type items to help their families such as rice, beans, peanut butter and bread, on Fridays to help them meet their nutritional needs through the weekend.
- Conducting food drives at various locations throughout the desert, call us and we can help yours be a success.
Fundraising:
- For every $1 = 7 Meals. Anyone can make a difference, let us show you how.
- Corporate sponsorships - giving back to your communities always is good business, let us show you how to advertise throughout the valley at the same time.
- Creating awareness of how hunger effects our communities and raising funds to continue feeding those in need
- Educating the community on hunger in the valley by means of Speakers Bureau and tours of agencies
- "FINDERS Group" - the back bone of FIND that not only financial makes a difference but also helps us in our decisions.
Volunteer at FIND:
Helping the Home Bound Project or the Emergency Food Program. Volunteer Times: Mon-Friday 8am to 3pm. Weekends for large groups.
Investigating Partnerships in the Community- By creating ways to support the food insecure of the valley
Junior Auxiliary- Creating a parallel organization that can help with outlined projects in our community.
